Your unique piece in detail

Grey with a hint of red, finely grained and velvety matt – Vulcano Dust looks like cooled volcanic ash. Vulcano Dust is a slate from Rajasthan in north-western India. Unlike the polished stones of the Pro series, it stays split: the surface shows the natural texture of the slate, dry and grippy, without shine. The name is an image for its colour – it is not of volcanic origin. Everything around it is built for daily life: the lens ring and buttons are CNC-milled aluminium. The lens ring stands slightly proud, so your iPhone never rests on its camera. The metal buttons press easily and can be swapped, and the Camera Control sits protected under TPU in the frame colour.

Every piece is one of a kind. The photos show an example – the texture on your veneer will look different.

Stone & origin

Vulcano Dust is the slate of the Pro series: dark grey to anthracite, with a fine, even grain that looks like cooled ash. Unlike strongly layered slates it shows hardly any banding – instead a velvety, almost powdery texture. It formed from especially fine clay mud that settled calmly and evenly before pressure and time turned it to stone.

Not polished but split: matte, dry, grippy – the calmest surface in our range.

Every order is made individually for you and shipped worldwide from Germany. Everything about withdrawal is in our withdrawal policy.
