A skin instead of a case: genuine Transocean slate lies on the back of your iPad and gives it a grip that smooth metal never has. The skin is cut precisely to your model, camera and ports stay clear, the silhouette stays slim – only the back turns to stone.
Transocean is a slate from Rajasthan, India. Deep blues and grey-greens lie layered in soft waves, with sand and ochre islands glowing in between. The large surface of an iPad shows this play of colour especially well. Not a print, not a stone-look film, but the stone itself – split, matte, with a texture you can feel.
