This privacy policy explains the nature, scope, and purpose of the collection and utilization of visitor and user data (hereinafter referred to as “User”) by Roxxlyn Design GmbH (limited liability), Prenzlauer Allee 186, 10405 Berlin (hereinafter referred to as “Provider”) as the entity responsible for data protection.

Storage of Access Data
The Provider collects data on each access to the online content (so-called server log files). The access data include the name of the website accessed, the file, date and time of the access, transmitted data volume, information on the successful access, the browser type, along with the version, the operating system of the User, the referrer URL (previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.
The Provider uses protocol data without correlation to the personal identity of the User or any other miscellaneous profile compilation according to legal provisions only for the purpose of statistical evaluation of the operation, security and optimization of the online content. The Provider reserves the right, however, to examine the protocol data after the fact, however, if concrete clues raise the justified suspicion of unlawful use.
Collection and Use of Personal Data
Personal data are only collected and used by the Provider if this is permitted by law or if the User has consented to the collection of data. In general it is apparent to the User when using the service which data are stored, e.g. name, e-mail address and any message when using the order form.
The personal details provided for the purpose of ordering merchandise (e.g. name, e-mail address, mailing address, payment details) are used by the Seller to fulfill and process the agreement.
These data are treated confidentially, transmitted in encrypted form and not forwarded to third parties not involved in the order, shipping and payment procedure.
When contacting the Provider (via contact form or e-mail), the details of the User are saved for the purpose of processing the inquiry as well as in the event that any follow-up questions arise.
The Provider has taken organizational, contractual and technical safeguards to ensure that data protection regulations will be complied with and accidental or intentional manipulations, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons will be prevented.
Data Forwarding to Third Parties
Details of the User are only forwarded to third parties if this is permitted by law or a User has provided his consent to the data being forwarded.
This is the case, for example, if the forwarding of data serves the purpose of fulfilling contractual obligations towards the User, and the postal address is transmitted to the freight forwarding company after an online shop order. Or if the data are requested by competent entities such as law enforcement agencies.
The User’s personal details are not sold or forwarded to third parties under any circumstances for advertising purposes or for the purpose of creating user profiles.
Cookies
The Provider uses “cookies” as part of its online content. Cookies are small files which are saved on a User’s computer and can store information for providers. Temporary cookies are deleted after the browser is closed, persistent cookies remain for a specified period and the stored information can be made available when the online content is called up again.
Cookies are used to facilitate the use of the service. For instance, a cookie stores the shopping basket status of a User.
The User can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers offer an option of restricting or completely preventing the saving of cookies. The Provider endeavors to design the online content so that the use of cookies will not be necessary. Information sent per Newsletter
E-mails with promotional information on the Provider as well as its services are only sent out upon the express consent of the User. The User can opt out of receiving the newsletter at any time. Instructions for opting out are also included in each e-mail.
Prior to sending the newsletter to the e-mail owner, a confirmation email is sent out in which he/she is required to confirm the newsletter subscription. Unconfirmed registrations are automatically deleted within four weeks.
Messages pertaining to the contractual relationship with the User are not considered promotional information. This includes the transmittal of technical information, payment details, and queries concerning orders or comparable messages.
The User can subsequently request removal from the notification list by e-mail using the above contact options.
During registration, the Provider saves the User’s time of login and the confirmation, along with the User’s IP address. The Provider is required by law to monitor the applications in order to be able to verify proper registration.
Google Analytics
The Provider uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are stored on the User’s computer and which allows an analysis of the use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about the User’s use of this website is generally transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
In case IP anonymization is activated on this website, the User’s IP address will be truncated within the area of member states of the European Union or other parties to the agreement on the European Economic Area.
Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. IP anonymization is active on this website. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating Users’ use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing the website operator with additional services relating to website activity and Internet usage.
The IP address that your browser transmits within the scope of Google Analytics will not be pooled with any other data held by Google. Use of Facebook Social Plugins
This website uses social plugins (“plugins”) from the social network facebook.com which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plugins are identified by one of the Facebook logos (white “f” on blue tile or a “thumbs-up” sign) or are additionally marked as a “Facebook Social Plugin”. If a User calls up one of these websites that has a plugin of this kind, his/her browser sets up a direct link to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is passed by Facebook directly to the User’s browser and integrated by the browser into the website. This means that the Provider has no influence over the scope the data that Facebook obtains with the help of this plugin and therefore informs Users according to its current state of knowledge: Through integration of the plugin, Facebook obtains the information that a User has called up the relevant page on our website.
If the User is logged on to Facebook, Facebook can link the visit to his/her Facebook account. If a User interacts with the plugin, by using the “Like” button, for example, or by posting a comment, the information will be transmitted directly to Facebook by your browser and stored there. If a User is not a Facebook member, there is still the possibility for Facebook to find out and store his/her IP address. According to Facebook, in Germany only an anonymized IP address is stored.

Revocation, Amendments, Corrections and Revisions

In addition, the User has the right to have erroneous data corrected, personal data blocked and erased, to the extent that this does not contradict any legal obligation to retain data.
Amendments to the Privacy Policy
