Before you start

• New backing paper. We have improved the backing paper so the skin peels off more easily. It differs from the one shown in the video. The new paper has two sides: a smooth, silicone-coated side and a normal paper side. Only the smooth side may touch the adhesive side – contact with the rough paper side can cause serious damage and make the skin impossible to peel off.
• Test the fit. Place the skin stone side down on your device to get a feel for the fit. Once applied, it can no longer be returned.
• Clean the device. Because the skin is made of real stone, small particles of dust or stone may be present, especially after shipping. This is normal. Clean your device thoroughly and blow particles off the Apple logo to avoid micro-scratches.
• Apple Logo Guard. If you purchased the protective film, apply it before the skin and follow its own instructions.
• Newer models. On the 14″/16″ MacBook Pro (2021–2024) and 13.6″/15″ MacBook Air (2022–2024), Apple redesigned the body with harder, shorter edges. We have adapted the skin and leave a 1.3 mm margin around the curves so it fits precisely.
• Ask if in doubt. Contact us before applying if you are unsure about any step. Asking first is always better.

Apple Logo Guard

Two protective films for your Apple logo come with this purchase option. Apply the film before the skin – ideally a few hours beforehand. Once the skin is on, the logo film can no longer be replaced, so choose your moment carefully.

The film is made by Orafol in Germany and is mainly used in the automotive sector. It comes pre-cut on a liner; as it is very thin, a simple needle helps to lift it. Slightly raised edges are not a problem – what matters is that the logo is cleanly covered and no bumps remain that the skin cannot even out later. You will find detailed guidance in Orafol’s processing instructions and technical data sheet, both in German and English.

First make sure your iPhone is clean. Remove dust, fingerprints and grease with a microfibre cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth. This helps the skin adhere better and gives a flawless result.

1. Peel off the skin. Carefully peel the Slate Skin off the backing paper. Go gently – it is made of real stone. The backing paper has a glossy silicone side for easier peeling.
2. Align the skin. Hold the skin over your iPhone and align it with the camera and edges. Take your time. Then press it on lightly, from the centre outwards.
3. Press on the skin. Smooth it gently outwards with your fingers so that no air bubbles or creases remain.
4. Apple Logo Guard, optional. If you purchased the film, apply it over the Apple logo before the skin.
5. Final check. Go over all edges and corners so everything sits flush. If needed, you can carefully peel the skin off and realign it.

Good to know

• Small particles of dust or stone may be present after shipping. If they appear on the logo or surface, gently blow them away to avoid scratches.
• Your iPhone is now protected by real slate – natural, unique and unlike anything else.

Read these steps carefully beforehand. If anything is unclear, contact support@roxxlyn.com before applying – afterwards it may be too late.

1. Disconnect power. Unplug the iMac and disconnect all other cables. Let the device rest for at least 15 minutes.
2. Prepare the surface. Use a firm, stable table and lay out a soft cloth large enough for the iMac – this protects the display. Make sure there are no particles in the cloth.
3. Clean the surfaces. Clean all surfaces, especially the back.
4. Lay the iMac down. Place the iMac display side down on the cloth. The back is now horizontal in front of you.
5. Understand the parts. The skin sits on two silicone liners. As soon as you remove them, the adhesive starts to take hold – work quickly and carefully from then on. The skin consists of three parts, or four if you also ordered the front cover.
6. Main surface (1). Place the large part on the back. Only press the stone on once the position is right – aligning is much easier with two people. If it isn’t quite right, you can carefully slide, pull or remove it completely; otherwise unsightly stretch marks will appear. This special adhesive leaves no residue when removed.
7. Remaining parts. Place part (2) on the lower middle area where your power cable will run, then part (3) over the power button, and finally (4) if purchased.

Good to know

• You can reuse both silicone liners at any time – always with the smooth side facing the adhesive, otherwise the skin will be damaged.
• A little warmth from sunlight or a hair dryer makes the skin more pliable. A brief exposure is enough.
• There is no video for the iMac yet, but the process is similar to the other devices – only the silicone liner differs.

Work over a soft surface so nothing gets damaged if the AirTag falls. First clean all surfaces of the AirTag. A small needle helps to lift the stickers off the backing paper: carefully raise one edge and the sticker comes off undamaged.

The AirTag has two sides. We call the metal side with the Apple logo and engravings Silver and the white plastic side White.

Slate Case

1. Apply the vinyl stickers exactly centred on the edge surface, one per side. On the Silver side the sticker overlaps slightly – this is intended.
2. Silver side only: warm the edges slightly with a lighter so they fold over neatly. Very gentle heat is enough.
3. Insert the AirTag into the case.
4. Peel off the sticker with the real stone and place it exactly into the recess provided.

Marble Case

1. Clean all surfaces of the AirTag.
2. Carefully lift the stickers from one edge using a needle.
3. Apply the vinyl stickers exactly centred on the edge, one per side. Gently warm the overlapping edge on the Silver side so it lies smooth.
4. Insert the AirTag into the marble case so it sits snugly.
5. Insert the vegan leather inlay into the opening provided, neatly aligned for a seamless finish.

Assembly

1. Prepare the table. Lay a clean cloth on a stable table to avoid scratches.
2. Connect the parts. Insert the stand unit into the opening in the base plate until it clicks into place.
3. First screw. Carefully tilt the unit to the side to reach the lower opening and tighten the first Allen screw.
4. Cover the screw. Stick the large wool felt dot centrally over it.
5. Stand the unit up. Set the base plate with the stand unit upright.
6. Mount the holder. Place the Vision Pro holder on the stand unit and tighten the second Allen screw.
7. Cover the second. Stick one of the small felt dots over this screw.
8. Check the assembly. Make sure all parts are firmly seated and properly assembled.

Stone shows every touch. This cleaner removes fingerprints, dust and skin oil from any stone surface – polished marble, honed granite, textured slate – and evaporates without leaving a film. No wax, no coating, no build-up over time.

Alcohol-based, so it dries in seconds. 10 ml amber glass with pipette, two drops per clean – one bottle lasts a long time.

How to use

1. Two drops on a clean, lint-free cloth
2. Wipe the stone evenly
3. Finish with a dry microfibre cloth

Stubborn marks: first dampen the stone lightly with water, then repeat.

Good to know

• Made for stone. Not for the plastic frame – that is what Case Care is for.
• Cleaning removes marks but does not restore shine. If your stone looks matte rather than dirty, you need the Marble Liquid Polish – provided your stone is polished.

Polished stone slowly loses its life. Not through damage – through use. The spots you touch most often turn matte first. This wax-based polish evens out the surface again and leaves a thin protective layer against dirt and moisture.

Solvent-free, based on carnauba wax. 10 ml covers a case-sized surface many times – thin layers work best; a thick one just takes longer to buff out.

Included in the set

Marble Liquid Polish 10 ml · microfibre polishing cloth · 10 finger cots · test stone. The test stone is real stone from the same production – practise on it before you touch your case.

How to use

1. Put on the finger cots
2. Try the polish on the test stone first
3. Clean the stone and let it dry
4. Shake the bottle, put a few drops on a soft cloth
5. Spread thinly and evenly – thin layers buff out best
6. Wait one minute
7. Polish in small circles with the microfibre cloth until the shine is even

If a haze remains: dampen the cloth slightly and go over it once more. Repeat whenever the surface begins to look matte – each application renews the wax layer.

Good to know

• A wax polish evens out the surface and adds shine. It softens the look of fine marks – it does not repair scratches and does not make stone scratch-proof.
• Keep it away from the plastic frame. Tape the frame off if you want to be sure, and wipe away any contact with water before it dries.

The plastic frame around the stone attracts dust and over time develops a shine it was never meant to have. Case Care cleans it, makes it antistatic so less dust settles, and preserves the original matte finish instead of glossing it over.

Silicone-free and solvent-free. 10 ml, applied drop by drop.

How to use

1. Wipe the frame with water and let it dry
2. A few drops on a soft cloth
3. Rub evenly into the plastic
4. Remove excess with a dry microfibre cloth

Is 10 ml enough?

Yes. All three products are applied drop by drop to a cloth, never poured onto the stone. With normal use, one bottle lasts for months.

Which products do I need for my case?

The Stone Cleaner works on every stone we use. The Marble Liquid Polish is only for polished stone – marble, granite, quartzite, gemstone. If your case is slate, the cleaner is enough. Case Care is for the plastic frame, whatever the stone.

Why can’t I polish slate?

Slate has an open, textured surface. Wax settles into it instead of onto it and dries unevenly. Slate isn’t made to shine.

How often should I do this?

The cleaner whenever the case shows marks. Polish and Case Care every few weeks, or when the surface looks matte. There is no schedule to keep – stone is forgiving.

Can I use one product for everything?

No. Stone and plastic need opposite things, and so do polished and textured stone.

Does the polish remove scratches?

It softens how fine marks catch the light and evens out matte spots. Deeper scratches in natural stone cannot be polished out at home.

Can I use household cleaners instead?

Most kitchen sprays are harsher than stone needs, and some attack sealed surfaces. If you use something else, test it on an inconspicuous spot first.
