Introducing the marble: Arabescato Grigio
A marble of the extra class. It is extracted in the Cornalita quarry in the village of Camerato Cornell, Italy. One of the oldest materials of mankind and one of the noblest at the same time it is a splendid Italian marble. Arabescato look like a genuine abstract painting born under the hands of a Master. Its color palette blend harmoniously shades of dark and light grey with white and golden veins, this particular colour variation makes it unique and glorious.
Noble and of superior elegance, the Marble Arabescato is characterized by its long history. Due to its robust properties, the stone was already used as a Flintstone substitute in the Stone Age. Already in the Middle Ages, this marble was used for the production of tools. In the architectural or art-historical history of Egypt coffins and other works of art were carved from marble and the Memnon Colossi in the temple of Amenophis III, as well as the coffins of Tutankhamen and Hatshepsut still bear witness to it today
